Own a Captain Pizza
A family-run pizza, donair and burger brand built for small-town Alberta: a proven menu, a delivery-first model with a small footprint, and online ordering that’s already working. We’re looking for partners who want to run the next one.
The model
Built for pickup and delivery, not a big dining room
Captain Pizza runs on a compact kitchen, a focused menu and online ordering — the shape that works in a town of 2,000 and a city neighbourhood alike.
- A menu people already know. Pizza with 2-for-1 pricing, donairs off the spit, burgers, calzones, subs, wraps, pasta, wings and fried chicken — one kitchen, no wasted prep.
- Small footprint, big delivery radius. Counter service and a conveyor oven; most orders leave in a box. Free delivery is a selling point, not a cost centre.
- Online ordering from day one. Your own website and ordering page, the Captain Pizza app, and a point-of-sale that talks to both — the same system this store runs on.
- Family-run, owner-operated. We opened Fox Creek in 2019 with family behind the counter. We’re looking for owners who’ll do the same.

Where
Alberta first
Captain Pizza started in Valleyview and grew to Fox Creek — towns that bigger chains drive past. That’s where the model shines, and it works just as well in a city neighbourhood. Tell us where you’d like to open and we’ll talk about the territory.
Who we’re looking for
Owners who’ll be in the store
Restaurant experience helps but isn’t required — we’ll teach the kitchen. What we can’t teach is showing up: an owner, or a family, who wants to be behind the counter, knows the town, and cares about the food that goes out the door.
Investment
What it takes
Figures depend on the location, the size of the space and whether it’s a build-out or a conversion. We walk through all of it, line by line, in the franchise package.
